Our Skills
Our staff has a combined experience of over 30 years in the software
development, systems integration, and systems support business. Although
we are skilled in a wide range of technologies and programs, our primary
expertise is in the development of high performance server applications
and solutions using Visual Basic .NET, Visual C++, Oracle and SQL Server
databases, and web technologies such as IIS, Scripting, XML, ASP.NET,
and FLASH.
We are able to provide systems based on Microsoft Windows 2000, Server
2003, and XP that can provide cost effective solutions that provide all
levels of scalability, reliability, and performance. We are also skilled
in a variety of support services such as procurement, project
management, design and system architecture, web construction,
estimating, documentation, testing, integration, and maintenance
support.
Our Tools
We prefer to use only industry standard tools in our development that
are based in the same operating system to which we program. Microsoft
tools such as Visual Studio, Office, Internet Explorer, and the
Microsoft Developer Network are our base repertoire. Corel Draw, Norton
Antivirus, SQL Server, and Oracle databases round out the toolset we use
day to day. For version control we use CVS and we prefer Veritas
BackupExec for data storage and recovery.
Here's a segment on our history
Sent Software, Inc. was founded by Clint Gibson (Nashville, Tennessee)
and Seth M. Lowrey (Lebanon, Tennessee) on March 12, 2001.
Clint and Seth were coworkers in various capacities at GE Information
Services in Brentwood, TN and at Paradigm4, Inc. in Nashville, TN before
Paradigm4's untimely bankruptcy in March of 2001.
Due to a tight market for telecommuting programmers, a desire by both
Clint and Seth to continue in the same basic career path and industry
(law enforcement), a recognized need for support at Paradigm4's previous
client, TBI, and a desire to introduce a software development company
that is family focused and unique in the industry in its priorities,
Seth and Clint formed Sent Software, Inc.
Sent Software began expanding in September, 2001, with the addition of
web master, tester, and support technician Jason Skulley, who provides
the primary on-site support for ongoing contracts. In June 2004 we were
joined by Alex Rogers, a .NET programmer who quickly began making his
mark developing web services and web applications for our clients. The
company is continuing to expand as business needs require. If you are

State of
Tennessee – We consult and provide services to various agencies in
the Tennessee State government, including Tennessee Bureau of
Investigation and Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole.
Tennessee Local Government – We also provide software and consulting
services to various local government agencies, including the Regional
Organized Crime Information Center (ROCIC), Collierville Police
Department, Loudon County Sheriff's Department, Bradley County Sheriff's
Office, and Rutherford County Correctional Center.
