The TCIC Gateway is a secure, low cost, web based software application utilizing secure certificates and user passwords to provide access that is compliant with the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) security policy over the internet. The system provides access to many of Tennessee's Law Enforcement Applications including Online Testing, Sex Offender Registry, CRMS, TIES Net and more! Before registering on the TCIC Gateway, users must have a sponsoring agency with an ORI. The TAC, RAC or other primary contact with TBI at the sponsoring agency will complete a pre-registration and approval by the appropriate TBI administrator. The user will be given information about registration. During the registration process, the user will be given a certificate to install on his or her computer and create a password for access. There is no software to install and it is a stronger level of security than a PIX box. Phone support provided by SENT Software.
